BBC Introducing: The South 01-02-14

Tonight on BBC Introducing The South (8pm) – Saturday’s show will be a special “all acoustic” edition to salute the musical contribution of Pete Seeger who passed away on Monday. Acoustic guitarist Ez Stone will be performing three of his songs live, along with his interpretation of a Seeger classic and singer/songwriter known as Bright Smoke will be getting five minutes of feedback from a pair of music industry professionals.

There are also be gig shouts lined up for House Of Hats and Jonny Maguire who will both be gigging next week. For gig shouts please use unsigned@bbc.co.uk and ideally they’ll need to get the details two weeks ahead of the gig.

Your feedback is always welcome as well, and to get in touch the text number is 81333 (and you’ll need to start your message with the word “radio”), you can follow the conversation on twitter using @bbcintrosouth and the best email address to use when the show is live is unsigned@bbc.co.uk

And as always, if you’re a musician and not yet familiar with the programme I’d thoroughly recommend checking it out and interacting with the show :o)
