Acoustix ft Megan Linford

Portsmouth based Megan Linford is a 17 year old is a singer songwriter who is currently studying at the Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford.
Megan can regularly be found performing at festivals and events across the South Coast and she was recently nominated for the Best Soloist in the Portsmouth Guide Awards 2013.
Her songwriting style is influenced by folk singers such as Bob Dylan, Joan Baez and Laura Marling.
Megan plays acoustic guitar, harmonica, ukelele and more recently the banjo.
Santonica formed in 2004 and hail from Surrey. Their combination of big choruses and catchy melodies derive from influences Feeder, Smashing Pumpkins and Foo Fighters.
Chloe and Sam met when Chloe was looking for someone to record her music. This sparked a unique musical friendship, and the pair have been playing guitar and eating lasagne together ever since. Their style infuses quirky folk pop with a twist of however they’re feeling that day. Chloe’s debut EP ‘Set Lizard’ is released 10th June.
Rounding off the bill are Treasure Smiths, an acoustic trio, playing a mix of folk, alternative and rock songs but with their own twist.
Studying English at the University of Portsmouth, they have formed a strong friendship through the band, and this is accentuated in their performance.
